Alhamdulillah our Janazah Workshop conducted by Sheikh Ahmed Umerji was very eye opening as all we learned the rulings on how to perform ghusl and kaffan the deceased . Inshallah we plan to hold this workshop in different localities to allow everyone to benefit from this workshop. Women’s Only Janazah Workshop date will be announced soon !!

joined hands with @usc.msu together we prepared 300+ Halal Turkey sandwich food kits along with @drinklmnt hydration packets as we distributed throughout Skidrow , Los Angeles.

Together we joined hands and gave back to the community in Skidrow Los Angeles feeding the homeless in remembrance of @kilicboxing . May Allah have mercy on him and bless him with paradise.

Muslims of LA hosted an event to launch Project Himaya: a self defense initiative to provide kits for women in the workplace and on college campuses to be equipped with tools for safety. We also took this event a step further and had an impactful mental health check-in with our sisters to discuss the ongoing Palestinian genocide and provide a safe space to discuss our emotions. It was a success and we look forward to hosting more events in the near future- stay tuned for more sisters events! 💜 also please DM us if your school/institution needs self defense kits!
